Intro

My personal mission: I work towards a more secure and safer cyberspace by contributing my knowledge and expertise to the security community.

I'm a cybersecurity professional with over eight years of experience spanning academic research, the financial industy, the public sector, and the private sector. My skills, fostered through my passion for cybersecurity and my experience in software development, enable teams to respond to cyber threats through rapid tool developments and incident response. In my previous role within the New York City Cyber Command, I led the Counter Threat Automation team which was built from the ground up to support incident responders by focusing on incident response automation, research and development, rapid software development, security content engineering, and malware analysis.

Currently, I work for the Cyber Security Operations Center within the Threat Monitoring and Response team at Zendesk. There, I built the Threat Hunting program and lead incident response and security automation technical workflows for the team.

Outside of work I'm interested in opensource projects. I truly believe that the security industry best serves its purpose when likeminded individuals work together to contribute their knowledge and experiences back to the community.

Some of my areas of interest are cyber threat intelligence, malware analysis and cyber resiliency.
